The Shoot and all that stuff

What you see above is Time laps of Macdonald observatory, Big bend, corpus Christy, and Sam Houston national forest. these were taken with the sunx 185 degree lens on a Nikon still camera
the image is bent to show you the perspective of a part of the whole image. I have shot all the locations below with the RED ONE cinema camera from Red digital
Booting the Red camera is a pain and cumbersome. I will be editing the Doc in Sony Vegas.

Tuesday March 17 – Houston City and Skyline
Wednesday March 18 – Sam Houston National Forest and Angelina National Forest
Thursday March 19 – Angelina National Forest and Sam Rayburn Reservoir

Here I am trying to get a configuration to allow the components not to be in the shot. I think that this was the hardest thing to do, I must stay out of the shot. even I was in the shot some times

Most of the shots had to be straight up. balancing the camera on a pod was difficult.

the Red Has an adapter to use Nikon glass so the same lens was used to produce the footage.
